iAd banner for single Scene game

hi there everybody, I have a game that is working on a single Scene, it has 2 views and i switch from a menu on the top of the screen area to the actual game on the bottom, portrait size, so the scene's size is 640x960 (i switch from a view to another by moving the camera's origin) i want to publish it as Universal app, adding the iAd banner on the bottom.
so i now have my ad hoc app and i'm testing it on my iphone 4s, and it's been over 10 minutes and i don't see any iAd test banner showing up on the bottom of the screen, either when the Camera.origin.Y is 0 or 480.
you can see my game's Scene setup here: http://fvimagination.web44.net/myScene.jpg
The banner i chose is the one that gamesalad shows as unversal banner, so it should be ok for all iOS devices.
is there something i'm doing wrong? do you think i can't see the banner showing up because of the Scene's size?

thanks!!

For iAd, the size doesn't matter, it only reads the position..
Really, it is works in gamesalad creator it will work, perhaps the banner just didn't pop up.
Perhaps try add a new scene at the start with a timer and then go to the scene with the iAd.. sounds stupid but it might work..

I will try it out and see if I figure it out

    Hi,
I'm not sure but I don't think you need all those rules about the camera and such, just add a "show banner" ad without all those rules and give it a try.. not entirely sure though.

hi brendanzh926, the tyhing of it is that i need those camera rules, because i have a menu game on the 1st area with a button that moves the camera origin down to the 2nd area when touched, in order for the player to play the game and to avoid the loading wheel the GS puts between every scene changes.
the blue Actor on the bottom of the GS Scene has a Banner behaviour in it, but i see no iAd banner in my ad hoc build, and i'm sure i published it with iAds checked on GS publish page....

Is your iAd behavior wrapped In a rule of some kind? Does it show up during the Creator preview? I had this happen once, I overlooked a rule that wasn't firing, causing the iAds not to show.

no, my iAd behaviour is free from any rules, and what shows up in Creator's preview is a message box that confirms the presence of the iAdbanner, saying that it'll be shown on my app but not in Creator's preview.
Should i set my banner behaviour as 320x50 iphone banner, even if i want to publish this game as universal ?

Do you have a separate background image for your game playing scene? If so click the background and add the banner at the bottom of that. With nothing else on your background. That should constrain the iAD to only that area an should only be visible to that area while playing the game and not at the menu scene. Give that a shot.

I've set iAdbanner to 320x50, iphone size, and now i see it the iAd test banner showing up on my iphone. i don't have an ipad to see if banner works fine there too, but brendanz said that the banner size doesn't matter so much, so i assume that the iAd banner will show up on iPad too, on the bottom of the screen
