open URL on android

Hi I have made a app that when a button is clicked the open URL behavior is triggered I have the use embedded browser turned on and it works just fine on my iOS devices however with android want's to open it in a web browsers outside the app is there a way I can get the web content with opening a web browser? please let me know I have a GS3 running android 4.1.2 jellybean!

i have a feeling that the embedded browser is iOS only, but it's been awhile since the embedded option was released, i forget the exact specs
