Have any of you used GameJolt.com to promote your games?

I came across this site ( Here's the link)when looking for new indie games to play. I looked at the website more, and saw that it looked like a good online indie community for developers to promote their work. I saw that some of the games did not have a playable demo with them. This might mean we would be able to put our iOS and Android games on there (if they do not have to be computer games, and I didn't check that. I was wondering if any GameSalad developers are on this site, and if they could be.

    never heard of it but it couldn't hurt. As long as its not a pay to list your game thing

    It's funny, but not surprising. After I released my first game and created a game specific website I've gotten several emails from people asking for money to market my game. Some seemed reasonable but I could tell they strictly make money off of paid reviews. Some seemed like scams but I don't know for sure. Maybe there should be a running list of known marketing scams to watch out for?
