"When the user is playing a game and tilts the device to move Gustav, the display will become distorted momentarily and then will continue to switch between the landscape orientations making it difficult for the user to control the fish. A screenshot of this issue has been attached for your reference. This review was conducted on iPad running iPhone OS 3.2."

I think this kind of game work only in one landscape orentation because fish is moving by tilting device if you want to move up i must tilt it from me, but when i do it in maximum device is switching to another landscape view and it crashes gameplay.. here is screenshot:

so i thin if you play game like labyrinth 2 light on ipad.. if it supports both orientations there will be the same error.. because controls of by fish and that ball is the same princip..

I just got an app reject for the iPad for this reason. This is what I received from Apple:

iPad Human Interface Guidelines state that an iPad application should be able to run in all orientations. Rats Of The Maze iPad is only supporting one variant of the landscape orientation. While we understand there are certain applications that need to run in the landscape orientation, it would be appropriate to support both variants of this orientation in your application.

Please note that supporting all four orientations, each with unique launch images, provides the best user experience and is recommended.

    This is a real pain.....

@Jaxter It's amazing that apple give you so much info, some app rejections have been very short on advice. This does not help you I understand but hopefully GS will sort it soon I guess. This is the real problem of trying to develop on a device that you don't have...I'm in europe also so understand your frustration, I hope you get help with your app as I remember it being successful before and it is original in more ways than most.

You need to support 2 of the 4 orientations. Either Landscape Left and Right, or Portrait Left and Right. You do NOT need to support all 4 orientations.

In EVERY Scene, you must select BOTH orientations in the Auto-rotation Attributes in the Scene tab.

When you publish, under the advanced settings, make sure those two orientations are selected as well.

I have just landscape right and landscape left orientations supported.. read above what i wrote... Portrait is canceled.. For my game to work it fine must be just 1 orientation supported or it will not be playable..

So i must wait some solution for that in next GS updates?

Try only submitting wi 1 orientation and in the notes explain it won't work otherwise. Ive downloaded a bunch of apps that only work in 1 orientation.

One solution: Support both landscape orientations, but in the instructions/tutorial IN your game, mention that the player must lock his screen in one orientation before playing.

I know that sounds stupid, and it is, but it might get Apple to approve your app.

    Good Luck!
