Is PvP Possible?

Hello, I am wondering, is it possible to have an my game have a pvp element? For example: Player 1 on his iphone, kills an enemy. Player 2 on his ipod touch has to fight extra enemies, as a direct result of Player 1's actions, and vise versa.

If this is possible, the game would probably have to interact with a server, and that server relay the info to the other player.

Please let me know if this can be done.

Not at this time only multiplayer games would have to be on the same device.
