Help with sizing on iPhone 4 and iPhone 5

Hey guys,

I'm about publish my first game, and i have a question. (I started this game a year ago, so its on the original GameSalad software).

When i go to test it on the iPhone 5, it works perfectly and the game fills the whole screen. However, when i test it on the iPhone 4, the game is smaller than the screen size. What do i need to do to make the game fit perfectly on both screens?

Thanks, NiK

I am not sure if I understand your question but have you tried setting the aspect ratio on Overscan when publishing?

When i tested it, i used overscan both on and off. When i turned it on, it was oversized (still iPhone 5 size) and when it was off, it was undersized (the top and the bottom had a little bit of blank space)

Overscan should fill the screen by stretching the game. Letterbox would cut of the sides or top and bottom.

Thanks for the tip, but i still have one question, if it fits perfectly for the iPhone 5 (using the dimensions for the iPhone 5), will it fit the iPhone 4? When i test it on the iPhone 4 with overscan, it is oversized. When i have overscan off, it is too small.

Should i publish the game with the dimensions of iPhone 5 or 4?

I moved actors/art using screen.size attribute going from iPhone 5 to 4 using overscan.
