Question about Universal Binary/Cropping?

hello.. I have project like gshelper boggle template with different art (I used gs helper art in screenshot for example purposes) and it fits iphone legacy but background is messed up on iPhone 5... I dont want anything to be stretched (use crop) because with my different art (Not the art in screenshots) It takes out where i have the score and stuff. I dont want to change this around

is there anyway I can get it working without cutting off soem of it? I tried DBA's Universal Binary template... But it didnt work
