Toca monster character

I need some general direction on this challenging task. I'd like to replicate a toca monster character in my GS game. Should I animate the entire character as one large actor with multiple animate behaviors. Or should I break the character up into several pieces (eyes, mouth, hair) and animate them as separate actors and constraint those pieces to a body?

Is the toca monster going to move? If so, you would be better off with a single animated image. Are the pieces going to interact with other actors? If so, then you would need separate constrained actors.
