Large Game Files

I am a game design instructor at a tech high school and my class has been working with GameSalad for some time now and we would like to create a large format game. There have been several stability issues with our previous games, especially when creating larger sized games. Is there a more sable version we can work with such as the professional version or any workarounds we can try to resolve these issues? We are currently working with 9.94 due to running Snow Leopard. Our machines are identified as 9,1 iMac 2.0Ghz w/ 4GG RAM.
This will be a large class project with over 30 students on one project. The final compiling of the files I'm sure will make it crash especially with the more advanced things we are trying to construct. I think that our project would be great for others to learn from within the GameSalad community and I would like to make this happen. Any assistance you can provide would be great.
I do have access to a machine running Mountain Lion that we can load the newest GameSalad on for final compiling or revising the 9.94 files for 10.3 (or the newest version)

The more information you can provide, the easier it is for us to identify issues that you are having and resolve them.
10.3 is our newest version of Mac Creator there have been many stability improvements since 9.94. We would recommend pushing to have your school upgrade the 9,1 iMac 2.0Ghz w/ 4GG RAM they are identified as iMac (XX-inch, Early 2009)
which will run mountain lion to take advantage of our newest software.
Could you send support an example of a project that is displaying these issues?

The games typically crash during development. I simply advise the students to save often so they don't lose anything too important. We will be building large levels with many objects. I fully believe that GameSalad will not be able to handle this, but would like to explore not only the file limitations, but the ability for GameSalad to process all of these objects and commands. There are still many technical issues we need to resolve on the game development side, but I'm always looking ahead in order to avoid foreseeable issues. We will be building these games as online HTML games, so file size on iOS or Android devices is not a concern.
Is there any other information I can provide? I know I'm not giving you much here, just wondering if we should abandon this project before we begin or if we should test the capabilities of GameSalad in this environment. I will be testing some of this at home on my Hackintosh and testing for stability and other issues as well. It's an i5 3570k and should be able to handle a program like GameSalad.
