I have a stupid or an awesome idea about graphics size.

At the moment I have a game that fully supports all iOS screens. But my graphics is to low res for iPad Ratina. I'm afraid my app will be rejected because of this and it is too costly to remake all graphics. But today I think I've found a solution.

If we think about games with pixel art, they don't have this problem. To make graphics bigger, they simply need to put photoshop image interpolation in Nearest Neighbor (preserve hard edges) and make image size as big as they wan't.

I can do same thing with my graphics. I know it will not look as good as it would be if I made it specifically for iPad Ratina but it will still look decent, cause a pixel density on iPad Ratina is crazy high.

I have two questions regarding this.
1. Do you think Apple will approve app with graphics that was re sized this way?
2. iPhone will also use this huge graphics and this will decease performance on iPhone's and iPod Touches?

Worth a try... could quite possibly get past their approval process.

Test it to see how much it impacts performance on an older iPhone.

If it doesn't get approved you could then just submit an iphone only version... once you've made a bit of money from that... then invest the time in remaking the graphics properly.

Yep. This is my backup plan.
