Stuttering/Lag when spawning an actor for the first time only?

I spawn a power up actor, and I get a bit of lag/stutter for the first time. All subsequent spawns of the same actor have no lag. So basically, after a few minutes of play, the app runs really smoothly! This happens for pretty much every actor, and only since upgrading to 10.3 (as far as I can tell I had no issues like this before with the same project) - anyone else have anything similar happen?

I've received some spawn lag in general now .. I believe @CodeWizard was going to be looking into this
