Promo Codes for future versions question

Hi all,

I recently go an update to an app of mine approved by Apple, but I am holding it in a developer release. I was wondering if I could get Promo Codes for the update before I release it to the public.

Currently, I only have a Promo Code button on the released version, but not on the unreleased update.

    If the promo code button is not visible on the update your holding on to, then it probably means it needs to be released before it will generate promo codes.
