iAds not showing in viewer

When I'm testing on the device, no ad shows up. When I run on the simulator it pops up saying an ad will show up on the device. Then when I run on the viewer, nothing happens. Any advice?

Do you have the iad actor behind other layers?

Some times the ads don't fill but do you have your app setup on iTunes and iAds turned on?
