Registering app name with apple

in iPhone and Android Publishing
I have created my app in itunes connect. All the way up to the "waiting for upload stage" Does this mean that the name of my app is now registered and no one else can use it or no one else has registered it? Just asking as Im about to spend money on Logos and promo and dont want to get to the "upload stage" and have it say (sorry someone else has this name)

    Yep and you have like 4 months before you have to upload.

    Thanks FBS yeah I knew about the 4 months to upload. Do you ever sleep you seam to work on UK time lol

    Ah I like to work early..lol I am up at 4:30am EST and get into my studio at about 5:30 at age 47 I like a power nap at about 1:00pm. And then do my little to do stuff to mix up the day. but yes I would qualify as a workaholic as I usually do work seven days a week some days more hours than others.
