interpolating another image

so i havent worked with gamesalad in MONTHS now and i forgot a lot of stuff lol... i just need help with interpolating an image into another image... basically i just want the image to fade into another image pretty simple

    Hmmm.... maybe using the alpha channel with fade out > image change > fade in?

    well @ericzingeler basically im just wanting the transition between the two images to be really smoth and i dont want the black of the background to show at all i hope you understand what im saying because im horrible at explaining these things lol

    Yep, I'm picking up what you're laying down. :) I was just throwing that out there as an easy solution.

    Is the actor stationary or moving?

    Place the two pictures on top of one another, fade out the top image.

    the actor is stationary... i mean i know i can do an interpolate and fade the image out and have the other image in the background to make it seamless but i seen in a tutorial once that you can interpolate images too but i forgot where the damn thing was lol

    Yea, I was going to suggest the 2 actor method. I guess the only other way is to use animation. As far as I'm aware, we're unable to interpolate an image attribute.

    so with using animation is there any way to make an actor seem like its blinking... you know how with arcade games they have the whole "insert coin" thing going on
