My first thought! Do you really think apple would put a removeable card slot on an iPhone considering that's not their style for most of their products. I think the leaked iPhone is a knock off

maybe... kinda agree with you. But still interesting tho...If it is real iphone then im kinda disappointed with it, doesn't really look that great. Plus there are rumors that screen is suppose to be bigger this one looks same size.

same cubic cm doesn't mean same resolution...resolution bump would be nice enough.

    - Front facing cam
    - LED flash for back cam, with higher resolution I assume
    - Micro SIM slot on side (not SD)
    - dual mic (probably for ripping off google's noise cancelation)
    - very cool new design..more professional IMO

    I want one!

The simple test would be to look for the Apple logo on the chips.

Gizmodo already know the CPU but aren't saying for some reason.

I wouldn't be convinced that this isn't an apple prototype just because they didn't take the extra step to put apple logos on a chip...something that wouldn't be difficult to fake anyway.

They may have used slightly modified off-the-shelf chips like they did for the iPad...lol

I'd be more interested in comparing xrays of the processor to the one in the iPad...see if it is the incredible A4.

When Apple builds a product, they divide it up into separate pieces to avoid leaks.

The hardware guys don't get the software.
The software guys don't get the hardware.
The aesthetic guys don't see the hardware or the software.

The only people who see all 3 parts are Jobs himself and his lieutenants.

This is a software guy's hardware "black box." It's got all the hardware needed to make it work, but it's not the actual production hardware or aesthetic.

Don't read to much into it. To me this just looks like standard Apple "leak" to generate buzz and rumor. They are masters at this stuff. It's simply part of the pre-release advertising campaign.

Agree orbz as we all know that when apple really doesn't want something seen it gets pulled from websites like last weeks serial numbers shown by mac rumors

Easy to do badly. Difficult to do convincingly.
