need some platform and resolution advice

I'm a composer and sound designer and I'm using GameSalad to create an interactive demo of my audio work. The demo will go on my website but I'd like it to be able to run on mobile devices (particularly iOS) as well, and I've got some questions about if/how this can be accomplished.

1. Will a published-for-web version of the game work on a mobile device? That is, assuming I've set the game up to respond both to keyboard/mouse and touchscreen input. Would a user be able to, using an iOS device, navigate to the page that contains the game and run it from there? Aside from the fact that the max resolution for web publishing is smaller than the display resolution of the devices I'd like to support, would doing this have any major issues?

2. Is is possible to launch a separate iPhone/iPad version from the web? Meaning, if I created a version of the game using display settings for a one of those devices, could the user navigate to the website and launch that mobile version? Or do all iOS GameSalad games have to go through the App Store?

3. Given what I'm trying to do, what resolution settings would you recommend I work with to start?

Thanks.
