Kindle fire HD 8.9 - is the audio delay still occuring?

@SaladStraightShooter I'm wondering if the audio bug / delayed sound issue has been resolved for the newer versions of the kindle fire HD as I'm looking to buy one and release on amazon.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
