I've had my iPad game rejected twice because it does not support all orientations. Anyone else have this problem or do I just have a someone who is a pain in my side reviewing my app.

Was your app rejected for not supporting all four orientations?
I had the same thing happen to me with an iPad app so I emailed them back, and said my game cannot support portrait mode, landscape only.
I told them with some of the mini-games it would be impossible to do in portrait mode.
I resubmitted a new binary, and they accepted it!
Just email them and tell them the reasons why your app won't work in a certain mode, just make sure whichever one you choose, landscape or portrait, that it supports right side up and upside down of either of those, in other words, make sure it supports both landscapes OR both portrait modes
The iPad Human Interface Guidelines state that launch images should be provided for all supported orientations. The Magic Dust launch image is only displayed in one variant of the portrait orientation.
It would be appropriate to provide a launch image for each supported orientation. A single launch image may cause user confusion as it is a passive indicator for the user to change from the current orientation.
That is what I did earlier today. I've not heard back from Apple yet. I guess it will be a day or two before I hear anything.
Keep us posted
Took them 4 days to tell me that :-(
Thank you for your email. We will continue to review your application and notify you if there are any further issues.
I will continue to wait.
It is possible to create apps with GS that will work in all 4 orientations, but an iPad app only needs to work in 2 orientations:
Portrait Up & Down or Landscape Left & Right.
You must all know by now that you set each scene to auto rotate to your 2 chosen orientations in each scene attribute. But even when people have done this, they are getting caught out by Apple, because the GS splash screen in not auto rotating. When you go to Publish your game, make sure you click the advanced tab and tick both of your chosen orientations: Portrait up & down or Landscape left & right, otherwise it will be an immediate reject by Apple.
1. Check each scene is set to auto rotate
2. Check the GS splash screen is set to auto rotate.
3. If you do not have an iPad for testing, then even though its a iPad game, run it through the iPhone viewer to test the auto rotate feature, it will shrink to fit on the screen, beware that some of the buttons may not work so don't panic.
4. If your sure your app does rotate the scenes and the GS splash screen correctly but it still gets rejected by Apple for this reason then email back and clarify that your game only works in X orientation and that the app does support auto rotation and it should get the matter cleared up.
Hope that helps
