A glitch which makes actor orbit outside of the planet

I have an actor which is supposed to ride along the planet like it does at the beginning of the video. Whenever I get out of that scene though, it orbits an inch away from where it is supposed to be. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I've been stuck for a long time. It also does not go back to normal ever. Until I get out of the viewer.
