Trouble adding images to forum

in Working with GS (Mac)
I'm trying to upload images to the forum. I don't want to just put a dropbox link. I have have tried the img scr="pictureURL" with <>but I just keep getting a x'd image. What am I doing wrong

    Image SouRCe not image SouCRe.

    So 'img src' rather than 'img scr'.
