Döner Kebabs is what I call them unless you are at a Greek restaurant and don't want to get thrown out. LOL! I live in Switzerland for 5 years. Had myself plenty of delicious Kebabs. Funny thing is that only in the last couple years has the Turkish/middle-eastern style Kebabs taken off here in the sates. I'm sure the typical american would still call Kebab a Gyro.
