I want to make an app that displays twelve images in a slideshow format including transitions if possible...

Any help is appreciated!

I'd make the slideshow in flash or whatever, export it as a load of png files, and then dump them into GS.

Thanks Mr T. I've got that one, but what I am really looking for is something other than an alpha interpolate when viewing a new slide. Maybe one pushes the other off the screen or somesuch. Is there no example of such actions?

Thanks, mr funkleberry, but I am looking for something quite a bit more efficient, a way to use GS to get the job done...

    Just use Interpolate.

Instead of interpolating the Alpha, Interpolate the X or Y coordinates of the Actors.

You can either spawn the new "slide" actor next to the current one and then interpolate both of them into their new positions,

Or you can create a large Scene with all of the slides laid out, and interpolate the Camera's position to the next slide in the series.

You can make either of these work based either on a Timer, or user input: such as tapping on a slide or a button.
