Need help locking actor in scene

I'm having trouble keeping my actor in the scene I dont want him to be able to turn back around all the way to the beginning I want him to not be able to turn around once the camera has moved, if anyone could help me it will be greatly appreciated.

im looking for a way to set a limit of what the actor can run back in the game, usually all apps have the camera view as the limit in some apps the actor can turn around and then theres an invisible wall and he can run back anymore, this way the actor can't go from the end of the level all the way to the beginning of the level ...

You could not let your player move back after they reach a certain pixel location, for example only allow movement to the left if your players X location < 300. I just picked that value at random as it would totally depend on your game and your specific needs.

Do you mean like metal slug where you run forward (right) as much as you want but you can only run back (left) about one scene width so the action keeps pushing you forward?

Its on my to do list btw.
