I have imported pictures into my game but the stump and the bunny look weird. I imported them at 72dpi and unchecked resolution independence. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?
Check the resolution and pixel count. Your pixel dimensions should be evenly divisible by four. For example 64x64 pixels instead of 63x63 pixels. Also you don't want to enlarge them in GS, ideally you should import and use them at 100% scale.
Yes I scaled it in gs, but I don't know how to scale it in illustrator where I made so its not so many pixels. The original file is in my other duscussion or on my blog
You should not scale it in GS. If you are making graphics generally the rule for Retina based screens is that you double the res (size) that you need the graphic to be in GS. For example: I need a 64x64 pixel character in my iPhone game in GS. I make the graphic in Illustrator or Photoshop (or whatever) at 128x128 pixels. When you import and drag the image onto the stage in GS it will appear at 64x64.

Was the image on your blog the actual file you imported into Gamesalad ? The resolution looks fine to me ?
