Five months have passed since I started working with playheaven and never received the first payment .. It really sucks!
Can someone explain to me when I get the money?

Are you sure you have earned anything? I think there is a base limit you have to reach before you get a payout, I'm honestly not sure though.

There is a $100 limit you need to hit before you're paid out. Even with 90,000 downloads, if people aren't at least clicking the ads or following the links, then you won't get an ad impression to be paid for.
    Your e-mail says $10.00

So how do I know if I had enough clicks?

    You get paid, maybe?

I can see it's not as transparent as you would have thought.

Yeah it took me about 5 or 6 months until I saw the first payment (backdated for the first month). I can't remember the exact time but I think that's a normal time frame. After that you should get something every month assuming you got enough ad clicks.

I'm talking about the Monthly Playhaven report it says this within.

    "Dear GameSalad Pro Member,

Attached is your report for PlayHaven Commission (Revenue) earned through March 2013. In viewing the report, you will notice both revenue earned and paid. According to our terms of service, you need a balance of $10.00 USD to receive payment, although we did make exceptions for that early on.
Also if you see partial payments for a month, it’s because we sometimes get updated reports from PlayHaven with additional revenue as they close out their books."

The limit changed to $10 I believe. I can confirm I have been getting monthly payments between $10 and $100.

90,000 downloads can't pass the limit of $10? And you can't log-in to see your metrics? ......oh wow

I wonder if this is true. If so I am pulling the playhaven adds out my latest game.
No use bothering players for a lousy few bucks.

I heard corona is getting playhaven now. At least we got something crappy before them! ;)

Sorry, this is completely unacceptable to me. I'm generally not the hating type but no way to login to view your metrics is just an insane thought to me and just screams shady.

And sorry I'm not buying the "but the deal we made with Playhaven and the way we implemented it's use doesn't allow for this."

Here's an idea, when you're bringing them so much business, have a spine and negotiate a better deal that benefits your PAYING customers and NOT Playhaven.

I'm not the bashing type but I have to say I strongly agree with this response from @DepressedPanda A lot of that does say "Shady" :(

90,000 downloads should make about $1500 in ads thats if its close to how much apple iAds pays. So even with the worst ctr in the world you should make $750 if not its not worth it. Instead use in app purchase.

Wow its impressive how much money you can make with iAds. I never thought it would be so much... How much was in app purched?

So why is it that Playhaven didn't want to deal with all of us GameSalad users individually, insisting that we blindly go through Gamsalad instead, but they're happy to deal with all of the Corona users as individuals?

    I feel cheated .

I thought there was something posted about talks with Revmob recently too?

It's not hard to dump some raw data into excel and do some really simple reporting for pro members, the lack of reporting might not only lead to a feeling of being cheated or confusion but also room to make mistakes without oversight by the GS team. Reminds me of when we found out they were using Flurry all this time but never mentioned it or allowed the paid community to utilize it as well.

Corona seems more focused on making a tool for professionals similar to Unreal or Unity where as Gamesalad is more of a hobby toy. I love the functionality but as it stands its more for people who just want to tinker.

Have to agree, I like gamesald as its easy to use but the playhaven thing is a joke really. I hear on other platforms it performs well. As a business you need access to analytics data. The lack of serious monetisation options and reporting is what puts gamesalad behind the competition. Chartboost, revmob are my main choices. This is why most of what I do is in other platforms. 90k downloads, there is no way you wouldn't have passed the $10 limit.

Surely playhaven could be re integrated to allow access as individuals. Then any payment issues and you go direct to playhaven, not gamesalad.
