Pachinko Heaven - My latest iPad game coming VERY soon

Hey guys,

I am getting really close to uploading my next iOS game, I've been working on it for a few months and am just in the finishing stages now. I've squashed all the bugs and now I'm just doing some final gameplay tweaking/balancing to get it perfect.

It's a F2P Pachinko game for iPad. It features 3 machines in 1, as well as bonuses, jackpots, and a card-flipping mini game. The marketplace is pretty flooded with slot machine and casino apps but I think this is a fairly unique spin. It's my own take on pachinko, basically a cross between standard pachinko, pinball and slot machines. I'd love to discuss if anyone is interested or working on your own slot/casino style games.

Thanks for looking! (^_^)/

Thanks guys! Yeah I did my own graphics. I come from an art/design background, hence why I am using GameSalad to get into game dev. ;)

Just finished the icon :) A bit more play testing to make sure I haven't missed any bugs and it's good to go!

I like it a lot. I saw Dave Hester pick some machines up in Storage Wars and wondered how they work. We never got these in The Netherlands for as far as I know. It's like a fruit machine but different right?

Thanks so much for the nice comments everyone! :D I'm glad people are liking the look of it. I think it's my best game so far, so I'm pretty happy to get some good feedback. I only have one more bug to fix so I should be uploading it this weekend.

LudwigHeijden yeah it is similar to a fruit/slot machine in some ways, but mixed with pinball. It's mostly luck with a little bit of skill/strategy. You want the balls to fall in a certain way so that you can win more balls or get a jackpot. We don't have these in Australia either, I think it's mostly a Japanese thing but they might exist in other countries too.

If I die and all there is are pachinko machines...I'm no so sure that would be heaven (I've been to pachinko parlors). Lol! I'm kidding. Looks good. I like the variation.

Thanks again for all the great feedback everyone :D

Haha @RP I'd probably have to agree with that. :p It's a nightmare of noise pollution in those parlors. The doors slide open and you are just bombarded with a wave of sound. Maybe I should have called it Pachinko Hell. Good idea for a sequel ;)

By the way I just wrote part 1 of a 'Pre-Postmortem' blog for the game in case anyone wants to read it. If you like it, it would be great if you could share or retweet. I'm sure we all know how hard it is to get our games noticed ;) http://www.asobugames.net/game-development-pre-postmortem/

Good read, have it bookmarked for part 2 or even 3 if you get that far. All the best!

    Cheers
