How to make a HUD?

I Have a question I'm curious on how to make a proper HUD specifically when I collect a coin let say i want to move to the top right corner of my screen. the way the game is laid out is its vertical scrolling game. any ideas on how i do that?

make sure to uncheck the 'scrollable' option, that will lock them in place. then just have a layer just for the hud, and design it how you want.
