Keyboard Input Saved Attribute Problem

Is anyone else having problems with using the saved attribute command with keyboard input. I'm basically having a person enter their initials if they beat the high score. I save the high score attribute and save the initials attribute to a key. On my menu screen I then load this key to another attribute. My integer attribute saves fine when device is turned off but I can't get my text attribute to save when device is turned off. I have the text attribute programed just like the the integer attribute but can't get it to work. Any ideas for me on this?
