With all these new features, and since is a card collecting game. Are you going to be having it so if people want rare fighters they can buy a card or a pack of cards from your site, then get mailed them, type in the code, you guys check it hasn't been used before, then the player unlocks the card or fighter they had paid for. Much more engaging then a simply Iap purchase.
I like my idea, because I see it in some games already and history fighters seems like the right game to do it with.
Looks good and all, but if you're launching a CCG, and you want it to be a big HIT, you guys are missing the most important element in your game -- the social element or in other words :
FACEBOOK INTEGRATION.
This is how Candy Crush and the other newcomers did it. the social element makes you generate more players, get the players more involved, players challenge other players thru fb, free advertising for the game, etc etc. -- too many benefits to mention. I already see this game going VIRAL on facebook.
I think it's really time for you guys to add this feature. It's been long overdue, it's been in your roadmap for YEARS and i think this is the perfect time you guys add this to GS since you are launching an app with VERY HIGH POTENTIAL to be a very BIG HIT.
Please Don't launch this app without this. the app will look HALF-BAKED without the social element. And i really think you guys owe this to all GS users especially those who have been with you guys from the start.
But it would still be better to have FB integration. The social element in mobile games has too much upside to be ignored.
While there are many successful CCGs without FB or social integration, wouldn't it be nice to be the FIRST CCG to successfully use it? With all those CCGs in the market today, you need an upside to compete with them and this can be it --- game concept is already nice, integrating FB in the game would make it top - notch.
I am sorry, i think half-baked was not the right word to use, but LIMITED POTENTIAL.
@CodeMonkey Care to share some info about how Card Battle Game is working in terms of multiplayer gaming?
Is it like: You have a table with all the data for your cards and your opponent has their table with their data, your table will be transferred via server to him and his table will be transferred to you and then rules will be triggered accordingly?
@POM things are still being developed, tested and debugged. But pretty much it is table driven data that get shared and updated between players and some additional game attributes that let you know the player turn. As a developer you should make sure not to update a shared table when it isn't your turn.

My 2 cents.

Roy.
Will it be "turn-based"(like the game ruzzle and WordFued) Or will it be "live"
