Just got an email from Apple
"Last Thursday, an intruder attempted to secure personal information of our registered developers from our developer website. Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed. In the spirit of transparency, we want to inform you of the issue. We took the site down immediately on Thursday and have been working around the clock since then. In order to prevent a security threat like this from happening again, we’re completely overhauling our developer systems, updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database. We apologize for the significant inconvenience that our downtime has caused you and we expect to have the developer website up again soon."
got the same mail. I guess they've sent this mail to all. I was always confident about apple's security measures. I guess this is not the first time their servers have been hacked.
I wonder if Apple is going to be giving us so free stuff- 7 days no access- all of our info stolen- humm, funny how they knew how to fix the issue like when it happened to- cant wait till the american Dev start a class action suit against them too, they have a lot of explaining to do if you ask me
My iPhone 5 lock button crapped out so I just got a replacement handset - and that is not able to be used for development now that this has happened. Can't add it to the portal through Xcode either. Big spanner in the dev works but I suppose for those few of us in this position we just hang in there and use our backup devices.
Yeah, the Dev Center thinks my renewed subscription hasn't been paid, so changed my app from 'Ready for Sale' to 'Pending Contract'/ It's advertised as out tomorrow. Highly unlikely now My promo codes don't redeem any more either. Waaaaaa...

Can't log into the dev center -- but I can log into iTunes connect. Not a huge problem for me, thankfully. Hopefully they have it back up soon.
We apologize for the significant inconvenience caused by our developer website downtime. We've been working around the clock to overhaul our developer systems, update our server software, and rebuild our entire database. While we complete the work to bring our systems back online, we want to share the latest with you.
We plan to roll out our updated systems, starting with Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, Apple Developer Forums, Bug Reporter, pre-release developer libraries, and videos first. Next, we will restore software downloads, so that the latest betas of iOS 7, Xcode 5, and OS X Mavericks will once again be available to program members. We'll then bring the remaining systems online. To keep you up to date on our progress, we've created a status page to display the availability of our systems.
If your program membership is set to expire during this period, it will be extended and your app will remain on the App Store. If you have any other concerns about your account, please contact us.
What do you think the chance is that the hack never actually took place and that Apple is renovating/re-writing their system to accommodate new technologies for ios7. It's easy to blame an anonymous hacker that way whilst blocking out its customers.
I'm a bit annoyed because I have an app ready for release that has a very short shelf life and I can only guess that the approval process will take at least double what it normally would due to a back log of new apps.
I may actually miss my window of opportunity because of this.
Interestingly I had an email from another online shopping site a day after this happened, they terminated all accounts due to a hack. They stated that a previously unknown flaw in the Java software used by their servers had been targeted.
Stuff like this always seems to happen when you least want it to, I feel for you @doguz. I was about to publish Saturday and I could not get on because of this hack. Hope they can get it up and running again soon.
anyone here experiencing issues with ios7?? M in deep trouble.. my phone its says needs to be activated. And when i try to activate it.. it says not eligible for the requested and build and 5 other error messages.
ios dev center is back online, so i presume it should work fine too.
