Can we get a promo code distribution system for GS users ONLY?
I've noticed a few topics in Announce Your Game (mine included) where devs have listed promo codes on the forum post and asked that people state which one they've taken and for some feedback once it's played... then nothing happens. The codes all get taken and used by someone without anything going back into the community.
I suspect people are searching for 'promo codes' on Google and just taking some nice free games, with nothing at all to do with the GameSalad community. Who can blame them? They're right there, asking to be taken anonymously.
Is there any way we could get a distribution system set up officially in the GS forum to allow codes to be taken only by registered members and with their username then available to the dev who handed them out? Perhaps it could even be limited by the dev as to which level of forum user can access them, whether they want to allow a free-for-all, or just get the opinion of GS users who are active members of the community. A bit like eBay limiting buyers to only those with a decent feedback rating.
