Anyone played with an options menu yet and what you will include?

I thought about player lives, 3, 5, 7

That's about all so far!

Difficulty level. Easy normal and hard. Or sounds off or on.

    I've got

*control options (though this is giving me bother)

*Animations on/off (in the hope that turning animations off will let you play it on an ipod - giving me bother also).

SO I may just do away with them in the end!

    Cheers,

    No, you can, mate.

It's just that there's a lot of spawning in my game, which takes up memory and stopped the game working properly on my ipod touch 1st Gen.

So I had the crazy idea of giving the option to turn off animations, in the (hopefully) not vain hope that it might make the game run a little smoother!

    Hope that clears things up!

My game has independent options for music and sound (e.g. Music on/off, Sound FX on/off), as well as tilt sensitivity (think mouse sensitivity / turn speed in an FPS).

There are easy, normal, and hard modes as well, but that's presented as the first thing you do in-game, instead of on the options screen.
