Any Updates on Custom Collision Polygons?

In my opinion, this feature is one of the most important features that could be added to the engine. I and many others would benefit greatly from this addition so I am wondering when it will be added. I know there are threads about this already but I am posting this just to get another update.

Honestly joints are probably more important but this is up there.

Joints are also important but I think it's rather ridiculous to only be constrained to circular and square collisions. In any case though, when could one expect either of these features to be added? How many months/years ?
