the Apple Developer site is really secure?

hello
I think you already know that the Apple Developer site was hacked.
I read that Balic (the hacker) had been able to grab the details of 100,000 people registered on the site.
I want to distribute my app to appstore but before I want to know if another hacker may have access to my personal information and especially those related to my credit card.
thank you

Apple sent an email that said:

"Last Thursday, an intruder attempted to secure personal information of our registered developers from our developer website. Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed. In the spirit of transparency, we want to inform you of the issue. We took the site down immediately on Thursday and have been working around the clock since then.

In order to prevent a security threat like this from happening again, we’re completely overhauling our developer systems, updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database. We apologize for the significant inconvenience that our downtime has caused you and we expect to have the developer website up again soon."

...'that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed.' but what about information related to my credit card

I'm pretty sure credit card information can be classified under sensitive personal information. But then again, email addresses are also sensitive information in my opinion..

Apple said that kind of info as is required by law is encryped. Every place has the potential to be hacked. It's kinda like if I walk across the street will I get hit by a car? Wel maybe but if you look both ways, as in only give banking info to repetable places which I consider Apple one, then 9 times out of 10 you'll be okay. But if you never want to get hit by a car you're odds are perfect if you never leave the house. I choose to be smart but never live in fear.

the hacker did not get access to any credit card information
    have a look at: http://www.loopinsight.com/2013/07/21/apple-comments-on-developer-site-hack/

"It’s also important to note that the hacker did not get access to any app code or even the servers where the app information was stored. The hacker also did not get access to any credit card information".

I'm about half way through the game I am making and I'm at a point where I need to test that I'm not overburdening the resources of devices. If everything runs smoothly I can keep making levels and finish my game, but if everything doesn't, any further time spent is wasted, as I'll need to rethink how I'm doing certain things. My developer account expired a few years ago.

Nothing I can do until Apple open up the system again? At the moment I can't find any way to renew it. I chose a bad time to give Gamesalad another whirl...

You still need to have banking info in there so Apple can pay you. Welcome to the world of business. No risk no reward.

sorry to be insistent or exasperating .I'm not speaking about banking info where apple will pay me but I speak about the info related to credit card with which I will pay Program Enrollment.
It's two different bank account I think or if I'm wrong tell me if it the same bank account.

What's the difference if Apple is hacked then they get access to you're banking info and could withdraw money right? what you propose makes no sense. Besides once you use it that data is stored as a transaction. Think this through not a kneejerk reaction. You're fretting over nothing. All banking credit stuff by law when stored on a computer no matter the company must be encrypted and is impossible to break the encryption. Relax.
