Testing game on iPhone

Hey all,

I want to test my game on my iPhone and started looking at some view tutorials,
On the Apple Developer site it says i have to register for 99 dollars,

99 dollars is not that much of a problem, but is this nessesary to TEST your game on iphone?
I don't wanna release it yet, just test.

Please help

Best regards,

Bas.

    That is correct!

There's two ways of testing on the iPhone. The first using the GameSalad Viewer by streaming over your WiFi, and the second way is to compile your program and install it on your phone.

Both of these options require an Apple license, and a Mac

Yes, a developer account is required in order to test. In order to install the gamesalad viewer to your device, it needs to be signed with a provisioning profile. You get provisioning profiles from a apple developer account.
