New Project Tower Defense (still looking for a good name) [W.I.P]

2 days ago I started this project.
it looks like a tower defense but it's something different ^^

You should tell you more of the idea(because you say it's not a tower defense game) and have some art before you can come up with a name idea(a good one)

well the look should be a tower defense (@Mpaula620 yes I am going to change the images ^^) but in a normal tower defense you have to place the towers, defend your 'base' and kill the 'enemys' but in this game you have to attack the 'base' so you are the 'enemy'.
I am going to use levels and every level higher is harder. i think I am also going to make a shop where you can upgrade your 'man/enemy' you earn money when you have a 'man/enemy' walking.

if its not clear 'man/enemy' are the attacking squares you have to spawn ^^

That is a cool idea. I don't think I ever saw a tower attack game before.
Perhaps that's a good name: "Tower Attack"

someone a tip on how to make it harder? I can make the towers stronger but how can you not finish the level? (when do you get game over?)

Basic names are often good. But you could ad something. Like Super Tower Attack :P

About the gameplay. I would set a target at each round. Get 5 soldiers in to destroy the castle. If the player doesn't make it it is game over.

I don't think I ever saw a tower attack game before.

You should check out the great "Anomaly" series then, e.g. "Anomaly Korea"

I know basic names are often good and I didn't said it wasn't a good name ^^ but if someone knows a better name I will use that one but for now this one is the best name

do you mean something like you have 60 seconds to get 5 soldiers in the castle? so 60 seconds is 1 round?

1: Yoohoo, do I win a price
2: You could ad a time but I can imagine that when the towers do there work well you can do it without a time goal. You just have to get them in.

2:then I have to make it harder to get money because now you can pass the towers really easy... now its just sending soldiers till you have money for a better soldier and then just keep them sending till you reach the castle... suggestions on how to make it more fun/harder

I'd say you get say 10 soldiers at the beginning of the game and have to get for example 5 in. More like Lemmings. It could be a Lemmings tower attack kind a game.
You could also make special soldiers like a bomb-squad that disables bombs that lay on the track for example...

The first 50 seconds of your 72 seconds video make the game look almost impossible to play and win but I like the concept. I don't think I've seen a tower defense game with reversed roles so I hope you finish it

Nice template there, I think you should have some graphics over specially the main ones in game that it can help you and everybody tell what the title can be..

The theme can really make naming it easier. It's like trying to help someone remember the name of something and they can't describe it to you except,"You know, that thing. It's kinda roundish with some edges."

Also, Looks very well done so far! I've always wanted to do a TD. There's always 'someday'.
