Im making my app for Iphone in a portrait modus.

I am afraid I made a beginners mistake, I made all backgrounds with 320x480,

And when Im pasting them in the scene, they fit out well, altho, I now read in a tutorial the inner white lines of Creator represent the real scene, and outside the inner lines is not in the camera.. is that right?

See here an example of a scene of mine:

Is this not good? I don't understand entirely tho cause the size of my bg is 320x480 after all, so it doesn't fit the real scene then?

I hope to hear from you guys,

Greetings,

A desperate Bas Goodboy ;-)

If you are building the game with the default settings, the new default size is 568x320 or 320x568 in your case. If you would prefer it to be 480 you can adjust it to legacy iPhone.

Or wait... if you are referring to the box inside the box on your image... that is the Camera's tracking size. If it is an issue you can adjust it in Scene -> Attributes -> Camera-> Tracking Area

I dont know how i did it, but i am making Legacy iPhone ish (my size is 320x480)

I think the second answer you gave help me much more ^^.. i made the cameras tracking area 0; 0; 0, and i dont see the lines now anymore..

Is this good? Is it now fullscreen then?

    Greetz,

ps. another small question, if i want to make the game 'retina/hd', should i then just double the resolution of my background and make it two times smaller to fit the screen?

That tracking area is more or less used when you have the camera following an actor. It gives room for when it follows. The way it is now the camera would follow your actor if it moves at all. The way it was before, the camera wouldn't have moved until the actor reached the edge of that tracking area.

To answer your question, no it doesn't really make any difference unless you have the camera following an actor. It was already fullscreen.

    Thanks a lot guys.

@Dues, that makes sense, and was what I was thinking. But since i'm making my game in kinda 'pixelart-ish' graphics, I am not sure if retina/hd makes any difference..

@FallacyStudios thanks. Almost lost it thinking I should have to adjust every background.
