Evening world...

Thought I'd share a blog entry I've just added to my site.

Basically, I went for my 2nd ever run today and whilst out trying to get a bit fitter, I ended up stumbling across numerous inspiration scenes, finding objects and all sorts. I definitely intend on doing it more, and then heading back at a slower pace with a Digital SLR to get some photos for a planned adventure game.

Check out more pics of the thing I found here...

I do most of my creative thinking whilst at the gym!

awesome, all those photos look like great jumping points and lend themselves perfectly to an adventure game.

@tgdesign , very cool , though make sure you don't start taking photos of other gym members, they might not understand when you explain its for a game :-)

Inspiring stuff. I'm currently working away on my own 'enchanted land' adventure game too - it's so much fun dreaming these things up from the world around you!

I love that area of the world, I went to Uni in Plymouth some time back. Now I'm trapped in the land-locked midlands. Oh how I miss the sea!

Beautifully area plymouth - Went there on holiday before. Reminds me a lot of Ireland :-)

Its amazing what nature can inspire us with.

I took your advice and went out for a walk this morning and took some photos. I'm still working on my game after dark, This is powerful inspiration for adventure games, After all "Good artists copy, Great artists steal" Nature is there for us to steal from and make our own :-) (Doesn't matter anyway I'm a sh*te artist. I just do the programming & Concepts ;) )

@LeanardDeveloper nice pics. The muchroom/fungus moon one is very atmospheric indeed.

Just got back from the maiden voyage in my kayak.. I only drowned the once, I had to end it early as my niece was kicking off on the beach. Hopefully once I'm a tad more confident in the water I can explore the coast and find a few more exciting places to photograph and explore.

The shroom is based upon A mushroom field by Sim's old office (Sim as in my Game dev partner/Artist) I've actually been canoeing in South devon before, An amazing place.
