Android 4.3, Texts on buttons wrong!

Hi,

after updating our Google-nexus with the Android 4.3 software, we found out, that the texts on the buttons in the menu (display text) are cutted and sometimes goes over two lines.
In the old Android 4.2.x he haven't that problems. And we can't reproduce how they will be cutted. There can be two small words ("Play Game"), which will be then strechted to two lines, but two longer words are in one line.
Did you have any ideas? Is it a bug from Google anymore?

I have again a look on that and didn't find an answer. Also if I resize the tex-actor bigger, some menupoints will be cuted to two lines. Does anyone have an idea?

Would text on the buttons added in your art program not look better? I.e. the text being part of the image and not using Display Text. You'll have better control of the placement of text, the option to choose from a gazillion fonts, and the ability to stylise the text to fit with your game, instead of the 4 or 5 basic fonts included in GameSalad that you have no control over.

I can try. But then it is a lot of more work, also because I support 5 languages...

Have you updated your SDK package?

you mean the GameSalad version or the SDK-Package of Android?
I use the newest Beta of GS (10.3), but also with version 10.1 it happend

I updated also the Android SDK to the newest version, but nothing changed...

using one word will make no changes. The one word will also be cuted into two lines. The funny is: Sometimes small words with only 5 letters will be cuted and sometimes two large words with more than 8 words each will not cuted!
