Music won't turn off

I followed tshirtbooth's tutorial "On & Off Buttons in iOS games made with GameSalad" below to the letter but the music just keeps playing because the volume won't change. I used a text box to make sure the "game.Audio.Music Volume" value was changing from 0 to 1. It is so the music volume should be either nothing or full volume.

I Checked and rechecked everything but no joy. I tried the attributes Pause Music and Play Music instead of "game.Audio.Music Volume" and that works. But this method might cause other issues down the road so I would still like to know why this doesn't work.

The only difference between the video and me is I'm using the windows version of the GameSalad Creator. Could there an issue with it, is anyone is aware of one? If I am missing something I can't see it, does anyone have any ideas I could try?

Is "Play to completion" checked? - or it could be just the dodgy Windows version.

Hi matarua, in the Action Behavior "Play Music" I can select the music I want to play and the only other option is "loop" and it makes no difference whether it is checked or not.

As if nobody has an answer for this... I've run into this same problem.

    Changing device.Audio.Music Volume does NOTHING.

@JodyMitoma I ended up using pause music instead and it looks like it still hasn't been fixed.

Click on my signature, click on free demos, search for music on/off and I hope that will solve your problem :)
