custom keyboard to display text

Hi

I am working on a project that has a custom keyboard that enters letters into a Display Text field. I have this working well but I cannot work out how to create a key to perform the backspace function. Can anyone help.

I've always done it by saving the letters inside a Table instead of a single Attribute. You only need one counter to tell you which Cell to add to next, as well as which Cell to delete when a backspace event occurs. Should be easy to figure out from there

Good luck! Also interested to know if there's an easier way to do this i.e. via the expression editor.

You can't do backspace you just have to make a clear button and clear out the whole thing.
