Sign app at local after downloading the .app file?

Is it possible to sign app at local after downloading the .app file from the publishing page?
I can't see the way to do this, may be I'm missing something...
Sometimes it takes forever to download the .app file for signing when I click Sign App button, and sometimes GS just crashes without showing an error while signing.
