IS the GS splash logo supposed to auto rotate?

I know a lot of people have had issue with autorotate, but just want to be sure. Sorry for making a new thread about this....

my game auto-rotates between both landscape modes, but shouldn't the GS logo autorotate too on boot? It is not......

is this normal?

    For the iPad it MUST auto rotate, it noes not have to for the iPhone, (but at the moment) it doesn't work on the iphone anyway.

    Yeah I know it is supposed to, but the splash screen is not auto rotating for me as it boots. I know Apple checks for that. I am looking for some advice or a fix for iPad

    What apple rejected for the autorotate was the initial rotate, not during the splash screen sequence. I also know this because my app has been accepted:)
