Photoshop save web error

Hello

I have this problem when saving GIF. file in Photoshop CS6 I get error message:
Adobe save for web error: Could not complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occurred.

Yesterday it worked fine but today not. I also noticed I tried to save the file in smaller size and it worked but
I mean I don't want 600 pixel width image I need more. Is this possible that image size and image effects can effect
saving process?

I believe you guys are using PS a lot and probably some of you had this problem, I read on Google but haven't found
any useful information. I tried deleting pref file in save for web but still ain't working. Any help please !!

Just curious, but why are you trying to save as .gif? GameSalad converts everything to .png, so you're better off saving your images as .png's.

GIFs can be exported from most art programs, they're useful for animated images, otherwise PNG would be the one to go with, even for a website.

Guys please don't change the main question here. I still haven't found the solution, I searched adobe forums and random google and still found nothing, AHHHHHHHH I need to continue my work and I can't ! HELP! How to fix that error please someone tell me!!

I think the Adobe support forums will be much more suited to help you. That error message is very generic and doesn't really give us much to work with.

If the problem is with larger images then it could well be down to running out of ram. If your image uses multiple layers then it might be worth flattening all layers before exporting to reduce memory useage. Obviosuly keep saves / copies and don't overwrite your original layered file with the flattened version.
