When i put images into gamesalad during gameplay they look cartoony. I am using pixel to create them, and I am by no means an expert, but I can't seem to get a nice polished looking image. Any thougts or tips would be appreciated. I am trying to get a nice image of a vehicle.
Thanks..

make sure you save them as .png (24 bit unless you are pretty good with options)
    dimensions should be even numbers

if you do that they should look right

if that doesnt help try to describe "cartoony" a little more and or see if you can post exactly how you are saving your images

I do the 24 bit and the png. By cartoony, I mean that they lack sharp detail, and do not have defined edges.

Do they look fine outside of GS? The actor is the same size as the image?

Try to make them even number dimensions. I have seen before where odd numbers make it look weird. So if it is 57 x 58 make it 58 x 58.

They will if you test it on an iPhone. The DPI is denser on its screen than on your monitor, so they'll look less sharp and defined on a computer than on an actual iDevice.
