Fullscreen Gamesalad Creator, coming?

I've always wondered why Gamesalad Creator has not implemented the option to view the window in Full Screen. It would definitely improve the workflow. I saw a similar thread posted 2011, but did not get any response.

If you create Mac apps via Xcode you will know that this is something that you can achieve for your app in seconds, yet I am wondering if maybe GS has particular reasons why they have been choosing to not implement it in the past few releases.

I have no idea which Head Chefs are assigned to Creator, so @CodeWizard let me tag you and I hope you will list this down as a valid feature request :) it's nothing like a major feature that trumps all the others you guys are working on at the moment, but I think a lot of people would appreciate it if it gets into version 0.11.0 Beta.

Anyone else agrees? *kroo kroo*

I'd like it to remember the size you last had it opened! On my 13 inch MacBook Pro it wasn't a problem but I've recently dusted off my iMac and it opens up in such a tiddly little window every time on that >.<

@KevinCross What's the resolution of your MacBook? On my 13" Air, which is set to 1440x900, it's actually also pretty small. By default, the view of the scene only shows you around 94-95% of the landscape iPhone scene which is.. just weird :D

You'd think if it was just a wee bit longer sideways, it would be just perfect (er, workable. Still doesn't beat Full Screen though).

I believe my MacBook Pro is 1280x800. I have the same problem I can't see all of the scene if it's bigger than an iPhone, and it's near on impossible to work on an iPad game but I got used to that.

My iMac is 1920x1200 which is lovely but the GameSalad by default opens up in a window that takes up less than a quarter of the screen.

You can resize the window cant you?

This would be a good feature.

You can resize the window, but resizing it every time you open it is frustrating. I get easily frustrated! :)

I don't have to resize my browser window every time I open it. If browsers and probably every other app on the Mac can manage it then GameSalad should too.

I searched the forum the other day to see if there was a fix or if anyone else reported it and it was mentioned about a year or two ago.

I use an app called Window Tidy, makes it easy to go (nearly) fullscreen.

I got it from the Mac App Store for free.

Edit: It looks like it's not free anymore :(

I'm using Moom from the App Store, it gives you more options on the green plus button, including resize the window to a pre-set custom size. It's not free either though.

Here we are, almost another year later and the problem persists...
