Sound cuts out

I was wondering if anyone else is having the issue of sound effects randomly cutting out.

For Example: I'm attacking enemies and the sound effects are fine, but after being on the map for like 30 seconds, I noticed the enemies are still being attacked but the sound effects are not being played and this is annoying me :(

What's going on?

I don't have many enemies on the screen so what's the deal??

Hi Charlie; we all need a bit more info to work out what's going on... are you using Windows or Mac GSC? What are you using to trigger the sound effects that cut out? Are there any Timers involved, or boolean conditions? Or do the sound effects trigger on collisions?

    @gyroscope

I'm on a 2012 Mac Mini fully updated.

The sounds are triggered once the enemies are touched/attacked.

Rule: When touch is pressed, play sound. (No timer on the sound effect)
The sound that is being called is a super small MP3 that's imported into GS.

It only begin to cut out once I've been playing for about 15+ minutes.

Weird thing is, the enemies still lose health points, they still show the attack animation but the sound just goes completely away.

Does that mean it will be fixed soon or something?

    Please say yes :)

This is the only thing holding me back so I'm super on to this specific thread.
Any updates on how to fix this anyone? :(

If this is the only thing holding you back from releasing it, I'd probably release it and claim to have not known about the bug :) I wouldn't wait for the next release of GameSalad which always seems to be so close around the corner.

I had to release mine with the bug where your phone music player stops when the game is booted. Something completely out of my control and unlikely to be fixed in the near future.

Yeah I understand what you're saying but I don't want to release trash. I've put way too much work in this game :( and I want the gameplay and quality of the game NICE!!

    Ugggh!!! This can't be...

Any news about this bug? Is it a bug at all or are we just missing a lost audio file?

I agree with jonmulcahy this sound like a bug that we fixed in the nightly builds. The fix would be in 0.11.0 release (when we release it no ETA yet).

@BlackCloakGS I reported a sound bug months ago, the one where it stops all sounds from other apps like the default music player or Spotify when a GameSalad game/app is opened, even if there isn't any sound or music in that GameSalad game.

Are you guys seeing this as a bug and is it one you will be looking at at some point please? I always listen to music on the device so I know how frustrating this is when an app just opened stops music from on another app from playing.

Just to let you know that this is still an issue. My sound cuts out after an actor is called a number of times.
