Advertising banner

Hey all,

Since i'm planning to go Pro, I'm orientating to make my app free and with the advertising system Pro users can use.

I have two questions about this, which are important to make my background art perfect. Is the banner 50px high? Can I position this advertising bar just wherever I want myself (i want it bottom)?

Second question is if i adhoc publish now, I see an advertising of GameSalad (4 or 5 icons at the bottom), i'm quite sure this banner is higher then 50px, might be 75px or something. Can I make each advertising banner the same size?

And hey.. why not pull out a third question haha..
If I use ingame advertising, will they spawn also on the splash screen and other scenes, except from the main scene?

iAd banner size is 50px high on the iPhone and you can place it at the top or bottom of the screen.

You can't resize the GameSalad banner, there are a number of different iAd banner sizes depending on whether you want to show them on the iPhone or iPad, and their orientation.

There are a couple of other ad providers to choose from when you go pro. I've only used iAds.

When you go pro you can choose what scenes you want the ads shown on.

Great, and marketingperspectivish.. is it best to put this iAd banner on all scenes? My players will be most time at the main scene. Because I have to know for making the right backgrounds and button positions for each scene.

I doubt many people would be able to answer that question, partly because we have no access to any app usage Analytics from GameSalad so we can't see how people are using our games, and the iAd report online doesn't give you a break down on what parts of our game, screens or scenes are successful with iAds.
