Text not showing anymore

I had several actors just displaying text, then they all stopped showing their text.
Now new actors won't show text in my project.

New projects do show text.
Some more elaborate actors in my project still show their text.
The actors that don't show text were probably all copies of the same original actor.

I am using .99 nightly build

If you're using self assigned attributes to display text from a table there is an issue in .99 and copies and modifying self attributes. Try opening it in 10.3. There is also the chance the actor got corrupted. Delete the actors and the original and make a new one.

I think it might have to do with mis-managing tables. I had been trying to use a self attribute instead of an integer hard coded to change a table. After I tried that, all actors simply displaying text stopped showing text. Now I have tinkered with it some more, the text came back.

Not sure what you mean a self attribute? Define that. A created self attribute in an actor or a existing attribute already present in an actor like color, moveable et...
